In the process of accreditation with The Open University to launch a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art and a Foundation Degree with pathways in Portraiture and Sculpture in 2019

The Role

Working with the Principal and Director of Programmes to set the strategy and direction of the organisation and implement the Academy’s culture, values and behaviour. Specific responsibility for day to day operations, finance, premises, HR and compliance. Operational responsibilities include the supervision of buildings and space planning, organisational effectiveness, development & networking and fundraising.

The Person

You will have proven experience of holding a similar operational management role, preferably in an arts or educational organisation. Ideally you should be able to demonstrate vision and leadership skills gained from previous roles, and have the ability to development and implement plans to time and budget. The role requires a high level of financial expertise, excellent communication skills, people management skills and a good deal of entrepreneurial flair, to help us further develop our academy.
