Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead senior account director for high-value, strategic client from the tobacco sector : own relationship, commercial outcomes and strategic agenda.
  • Develop and execute client account plans aligned with brand growth, cultural moment activation and commerce outcomes.
  • Oversee and guide the multi-disciplinary delivery team (strategy, creative, content, experience, engineering) to ensure the agency’s capabilities are leveraged and client objectives are met.
  • Drive integrated campaigns, brand launches, ongoing brand evolutions and large-scale activations from brief through to delivery, ensuring quality, timing, budget and impact.
  • Lead budget oversight: financial forecasting, margin performance, commercial negotiations and escalation of risk or opportunity.
  • Act as senior stakeholder liaison: manage C-suite client contacts, elevate discussions to business-strategic level, present compelling narratives and results.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and growth opportunities within existing accounts: new services, additional channels, global roll-outs and innovation briefs.
  • Contribute to new business initiatives, assisting with pitches, proposals and client presentations based on experience and insight.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) at senior account or client-leadership level within a creative, brand, design or integrated agency environment, working with ambitious consumer brands.

  • Excellent commercial acumen: strong in managing large budgets, driving profitability, negotiating contracts and steering financial outcomes.

  • Exceptional communicator: articulate at C-suite level, skilled at presenting strategic thinking, creative rationale, campaign results and future roadmaps.

  • Strategic mindset with creative literacy: able to engage meaningfully with brand strategy, narrative, cultural relevance, content, experience and commerce channels.

  • Proven track record in leading end-to-end campaigns and brand programmes: from initial brief through to delivery and measurement of business impact.

  • Outstanding relationship-builder: trusted by senior clients, able to anticipate business needs, uncover opportunities and drive deep, long-term engagement.
