Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of key client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders.

  • Develop and drive brand strategy and positioning in collaboration with creative, strategy, and design teams, ensuring alignment with client business goals.

  • Oversee the delivery of multi-disciplinary brand work, including identity, naming, packaging, and campaign design, ensuring high quality and consistency.

  • Lead pitches and new business efforts: shaping proposals, preparing presentations, and articulating the agency’s value proposition to prospective clients.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, anticipate needs, and proactively identify opportunities for growth and innovation within existing accounts.

  • Set and manage financial targets for accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and resource allocation.

  • Mentor and manage account teams (Account Managers, Senior Managers), developing talent, providing feedback, and ensuring smooth collaboration.

  • Ensure that projects run to schedule and scope—managing risk, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record (typically 8+ years) in an agency environment, with significant experience in brand strategy, design consultancy, or creative services.

  • Strong understanding of brand design processes: naming, identity, packaging, and other visual expressions.

  • Exceptional client relationship skills, with experience managing senior stakeholders and leading large, cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into creative briefs, and guide creative teams to deliver insight-driven, distinctive work.

  • Financial acumen: ability to manage P&L for accounts, negotiate contracts, and forecast revenues.

  • Excellent presentation and pitching skills, with experience shaping compelling proposals and winning new business.

  • Leadership and team-management experience, with a track record of mentoring junior account professionals.

  • Project management competence, including risk management, timeline control, and resource planning.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

  • Passion for sustainability and responsible design, ideally with some experience or familiarity working on environmentally conscious projects.

  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced, creative environment, with a desire to drive innovation and growth.
