The Freelance Strategist will play a key role in shaping strategic thinking and helping clients connect meaningfully with their audiences.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and articulate clear brand and communications strategies that respond to client briefs and market insights across diverse sectors.

Lead strategic thinking for brand positioning, audience understanding, competitive landscapes and creative platforms for campaigns and identity work.

Work collaboratively with creative directors, designers, producers and account teams to translate strategy into compelling and executable creative briefs.

Research and synthesise cultural, consumer and category insights to inform strategic recommendations and support decision-making.

Present strategic work confidently to internal teams and clients, articulating rationale, implications and opportunities for creative development.

Support pitch development, client presentations and workshop facilitation where strategic framing is required.

Collaborate remotely with global studio colleagues, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution across markets.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, behavioural shifts and emerging frameworks that could influence clients’ strategic direction.
Key Skills

Proven experience in brand, communications or creative strategy ideally with work spanning luxury, hospitality, real estate or culturally-driven sectors.

Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to distil complex insights into simple, relevant strategic frameworks.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and confidence presenting strategic thinking to diverse stakeholders.
