Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic thinking across a portfolio of FMCG clients, translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable brand strategies.
- Take ownership of key client relationships, confidently leading strategic workstreams and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop insight-led brand positioning, innovation strategies, portfolio architecture, naming, messaging and creative briefs.
- Work closely with creative, client services and leadership teams to ensure strategy is embedded throughout the creative process.
- Present strategic recommendations with confidence, facilitating client workshops and helping stakeholders align around a clear direction.
- Lead research analysis, identifying consumer, category and cultural insights that inform commercially effective creative solutions.
- Mentor junior members of the strategy team, sharing knowledge and contributing to the continued growth of the department.
- Support business development by contributing to pitches, credentials and new business opportunities.
- Collaborate across multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of strategic thinking and delivery.
- Play an active role in shaping the agency’s strategic offering, contributing new ideas, methodologies and thought leadership.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in brand strategy within an agency or similar environment
- Strong ability to turn insights into clear, actionable strategies that drive business impact
- Confident presenter with experience leading client conversations and building long-term relationships
- Excellent storytelling and deck-writing skills, with a strong eye for narrative flow
- Skilled strategic copywriter, able to craft clear, persuasive, and brand-aligned messaging
