Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of a busy creative studio, ensuring smooth operations and an exceptional working environment.
- Manage studio facilities, suppliers, office resources and maintain a premium studio space.
- Coordinate printed materials, presentation collateral and logistics for client meetings and agency events.
- Support finance administration, including expenses, company cards and general operational tasks.
- Drive agency culture through internal events, social activities and team engagement initiatives.
- Manage studio technology, equipment and onboarding requirements, liaising with external IT providers.
- Lead resource planning and studio traffic management, balancing workloads across creative teams and freelancers.
- Monitor project allocations, studio capacity and timesheets to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Build and manage a network of freelance and permanent creative talent, supporting recruitment activity.
- Oversee onboarding, offboarding, freelancer administration and IR35 compliance.
- Foster strong relationships with recruitment partners, freelancers and external suppliers.
- Support senior leadership by coordinating priorities, resource allocation and key business initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Studio Manager, Traffic Manager, or Resource Manager role within a branding, design, or advertising agency.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven experience managing creative resources with an understanding of project profitability, freelance rates, and talent cost management.
- Production Skills: Experience or comfort with managing the internal production and delivery of printed assets and meeting collateral.
- Tools: Proficiency with Paprika (or similar project management/resourcing software) is highly desirable.
- Compliance Knowledge: Solid, practical understanding of UK IR35 regulations.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, emotional intelligence, and organizational skills.
