Key Responsibilities:

This role combines brand strategy, insight generation and new business support, working closely with Client Services, New Business and the Strategy Director.

New Business & Business Development

  • Research markets, categories and consumer behaviour to uncover insights that support new business opportunities
  • Conduct competitor analysis for prospective and existing clients, identifying gaps, opportunities and emerging design and branding trends
  • Support the New Business team by researching prospect brands and tailoring insights and strategic narratives for pitches
  • Create strategic content for new business presentations and contribute directly to pitch development
  • Develop and present thought leadership pieces to support business development initiatives
  • Produce marketing content for articles, features, newsletters and LinkedIn in collaboration with the Social Media team
  • Stay up to date with social media, branding and design trends relevant to new business growth

Brand Strategy & Client Work

  • Analyse branding, packaging and communications across client brands
  • Develop clear and inspiring creative briefs to guide the design team
  • Create brand positionings, naming for new brands, sub-brands and variants
  • Support Client Services with strategic rationale and storytelling for creative presentations
  • Develop mood boards and visual tools to guide the creative process
  • Write copy across brand platforms and presentations
  • Participate in strategic and creative workshops with internal teams and clients

Key Skills:

  • At least four years of brand strategy experience, marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Be an outstanding facilitator – experienced in designing and leading workshops, that enable creative leaps and break through political impasses.
  • Experience of working in and/or with large, complex organisations, and in client-facing roles.
  • Positive and persuasive – able to inspire confidence in people at all levels, and a true ambassador for the company.
